Following Board action tomorrow evening, you can expect that Dixon Unified will open our schools on March 14th with masks optional. Please look for confirmation of this decision to be issued this Friday, along with any related information that you will need to have.

Weekly Update/Actualización Semanal – February 23, 2022
We expect to receive new guidance on masks on Monday, February 28th. It is anticipated that Governor Newsom will be announcing a date where masks will become optional in school settings. We will be sure to pass this information along as soon as it is available. Until such a date, mask remain mandatory inside.

Outdoor Mask Policy/Política de Máscaras al Aire Libre
Beginning Tuesday, February 22nd, the District will be relaxing its requirement on wearing masks while outdoors on campuses. The biggest impact of this is that masks are not required during recesses, lunch, breaks, physical education that is outdoors, and other times students are outside. Masks will be optional outdoors.
