Update Regarding JKMS Social-Media Posting
Site and District staff spent the day supporting students and families affected by yesterday’s racist post. Additionally, administrative staff continued investigating the event. This investigation is ongoing and will continue for as long as needed.
District staff will hold a second press conference regarding the incident tomorrow, Friday, February 3rd at 1:00 pm at the Dixon Unified School District Office, located at 180 South 1st Street.
Our priority remains to provide support to our students affected by this abhorrent act, and to ensure safe schools for all students and staff.

El personal del sitio y del distrito pasó el día apoyando a los estudiantes y las familias afectadas por la publicación racista de ayer. Adicionalmente, personal administrativo continuó investigando el hecho. Esta investigación está en curso y continuará durante el tiempo que sea necesario.
El personal del distrito llevará a cabo una segunda conferencia de prensa sobre el incidente mañana viernes 3 de febrero a la 1:00 pm en la Oficina del Distrito Escolar Unificado de Dixon, ubicada en 180 South 1st Street.
Nuestra prioridad sigue siendo brindar apoyo a nuestros estudiantes afectados por este acto abominable y garantizar escuelas seguras para todos los estudiantes y el personal.
