Testing Opportunities
We continue to offer testing for any student or staff member free of charge every Monday and Thursday from 2:00 to 3:30 at Dixon High. We will be adding a testing day on Tuesdays following the Winter Break. Look for more information on that next week. COVID News
We continue to wait on information from the State on the vaccine mandate the Governor previously announced. We will share it as soon as we have it.
The New Year will not bring any changes to our existing health and safety protocols or practices. The California Department of Public Health issued a recent update that did not include any major changes to the existing guidance.
Travel Outside the Country and Returning to School
We know that a significant number of people travel outside the United States over the Winter Break for vacation or to visit family. There are requirements for families to adhere to with regard to returning to school if students have traveled to another country.
ALL Travelers
- Get tested with a COVID-19 viral test 3-5 days after travel.
- Self-monitor for COVID-19 symptoms; isolate and get tested if you develop symptoms.
- Follow all state and local recommendations or requirements after travel.
If You Are NOT Fully Vaccinated
In addition to the testing recommendations above
- Stay home and self-quarantine for a full 7 days after travel, even if you test negative at 3-5 days.
- If you don’t get tested, stay home and self-quarantine for 10 days after travel.

Viajar Fuera del País y Regresar a la Escuela
TODOS los viajeros
Sabemos que una cantidad significativa de personas viajan fuera de los Estados Unidos durante las vacaciones de invierno por vacaciones o para visitar a la familia. Existen requisitos que las familias deben cumplir con respecto al regreso a la escuela si los estudiantes han viajado a otro país.
- Hágase la prueba con un COVID-19 examen viral 3-5 días después del viaje.
- Encuentre una ubicación de prueba covid19 cerca de usted
- Auto-monitorización síntomas de COVID-19; aislarse y hágase la prueba si presenta síntomas.
- Siga todas las recomendaciones o requisitos después del viaje estatales y locales.
Si NO está completamente vacunado
Además de las recomendaciones de prueba anteriores
- Quédese en casa y manténgase en cuarentena durante 7 días completos después del viaje, aunque el resultado de la prueba es negativo a los 3-5 días.
