Graduation and A-G Requirements

There are particular requirements to earn a diploma. Additionally, there are specific requirements for college admission – called A-G requirements. Here are some important things to remember:

• Only courses completed with a D- or better satisfy graduation requirements.
• Only courses completed with a C or better satisfy A-G requirements.
• The A-G requirements listed are MINIMUM requirements for many colleges and universities. If students plan on attending a more competitive college or university, they should take more than the minimum courses in each area.
