As reported earlier, the positive cases being confirmed in the District has been very low. This is our first week with no cases among our student population, with two among staff.
Testing Opportunities
We continue to offer testing for any student or staff member free of charge every Monday and Thursday from 2:00 to 3:30 at Dixon High. You must register for the test through this link before testing:

Vaccination News
There are no updates on the coming vaccine mandates for all students (school-aged children) since the last update. There are developments regarding vaccine approvals for children at the Food and Drug Administration level, but these have not yet had any impact on the mandate that has been established in California. As a reminder, the current order will cover Grades 6-12 initially, with all the lower grades to follow. We will provide additional information as it is released.
All staff in the District has now provided proof of vaccination or is participating in mandatory weekly testing. This state-wide order was implemented as of October 15th, and has been administered smoothly.
We anticipate that Solano County will be holding vaccination clinics in the near future. These would be similar in structure to the ones that were held earlier this year at Dixon High and C.A. Jacobs. The clinics would be for booster shots and initial vaccinations. We’ll share the information as soon as we have it.

Noticias de Vacunación
No hay actualizaciones sobre los próximos mandatos de vacunas para todos los estudiantes (estudiantes de primaria) desde la última actualización. Hay avances con respecto a las aprobaciones de vacunas para estudiantes a nivel de la Administración de Alimentos y Medicamentos, pero aún no han tenido ningún impacto en el mandato que se ha establecido en California. Como recordatorio, el orden actual cubrirá inicialmente los grados 6-12, y seguirán todos los grados inferiores. Proporcionaremos información adicional a medida que se publique.
Todo el personal del Distrito ha proporcionado verificación de vacunación o está participando en pruebas semanales obligatorias. Esta orden estatal se implementó a partir del 15 de octubre y se ha administrado sin problemas
Anticipamos que el condado de Solano llevará a cabo clínicas de vacunación en el futuro cercano. Estos serían similares en estructura a los que se llevaron a cabo a principios de este año en Dixon High y C.A. Jacobs. Las clínicas serían para inyecciones de refuerzo y vacunas iniciales.
