Dear Dixon High School Families,
It is an absolute pleasure serving this community! Thank you for a fantastic year and I am looking forward to next year with our returning students and our new freshman students and families.
I realize you may still need support over the summer and you also might have a question or two so here are some updates. Our office is closed but I am still available via email with any issues or concerns. Just reach out at smarquez@dixonusd.org if you need help.
For Recent Graduates
Thank you for requesting official transcripts. Those are being mailed by tomorrow afternoon so your post-secondary institutions should receive them next week.
If you still need to order an official transcript, you will need to stop by the DUSD District Office.
Also, your family should be receiving an email from Lifetouch regarding your graduation pictures. If you have any questions, please contact Lifetouch at lifetouch.com.
Work Permits
Most of our students updated their work permits before the end of school. But, if your student gets a summer job after today or needs a renewal, they can get a current work permit at the DUSD District Office. Bring a signed and completed work permit request form with you for a new permit.
Orientations for the 2023-2024 School Year
Please be present and enjoy your summer for a while without worrying about school. We will be working hard to get everything organized for you.
- Please don’t worry about school supplies until you meet with us in the fall. In our continued commitment to provide equitable organizational support for all students (and so they aren’t crushed by the weight of their backpacks 🙂) we will provide most supplies, including binders and planners, so there are only a couple of things you will need.
- We will have a parent and family orientation evening on Thursday, August 3 at 7:00 pm. We are looking forward to partnering with our families!
- Student orientations and picture day is scheduled for Tuesday, August 8, beginning in the morning. There will be more details after our Leadership Camp in July.

Next Year’s Bell Schedule
Next year we will not have Double Weeks! Our schedule will be the same each week (except for special events and finals weeks). DHS Bell Schedule 2023-2024
