Tremont Elementary School has been recognized as a Silver PBIS (Positive Behavior Intervention Support) School. The Statewide Recognition system acknowledges schools for implementing PBIS with fidelity to the national framework.
What is PBIS?
Positive behavioral interventions and supports (PBIS) is a schoolwide systems approach aimed at establishing positive student culture and individualized behavior supports necessary to create a safe and effective learning environment for all students (Sugai & Horner, 2009).

Las intervenciones y apoyos conductuales postivos (PBIS) son un en enfoque de sistemas a nivel escolar destinado a establecer una cultura estudiantil positiva y apoyos conductuales individualizados necesarios para crear un ambiente de aprendizaje seguro efectivo para todos los estudiantes.
