We had an amazing week here at John Knight Middle School with two wonderful events!\u00a0 Our JKMS band held its first in person performance in over two years and we held our annual winter recognition rally!\u00a0 We would like to thank everyone who attended these events and give a special shout out to the students who participated and received recognition.\u00a0 We really appreciate your hard work.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Winter break has finally arrived and we have completed the first semester of the 2021- 2022 school year.\u00a0 It is with pride that we look back at what our students and staff have accomplished since August 11th. Student learning continues to take center stage at JKMS.\u00a0 Across all grades and subject areas, students and teachers collaborate in the learning process through innovative teaching practices, feedback, and student input into their learning and assessment.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">December is a month to reflect on friends and family. Hopefully, you can take some time during the Winter break to connect or reconnect with friends and family. \u00a0 This Holiday season I encourage you to look after one another.\u00a0 The season is a season of giving.\u00a0 Often times when we think of giving we think of tangible gifts, this year consider giving the gift of you.\u00a0 Give someone your smile, your time, your conversation, given them a phone call, or a word of encouragement.\u00a0 Just give them you!<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Actualizaciones para los padres<\/strong><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u00a1Felices vacaciones! \u00a1Tuvimos una semana incre\u00edble aqu\u00ed en la Escuela Intermedia John Knight con dos eventos maravillosos! \u00a1Nuestra banda JKMS celebr\u00f3 su primera actuaci\u00f3n en persona en m\u00e1s de dos a\u00f1os y celebramos nuestro rally anual de reconocimiento de invierno! Queremos agradecer a todos los que asistieron a estos eventos y hacer un agradecimiento especial a los estudiantes que participaron y recibieron reconocimiento. Realmente apreciamos su arduo trabajo.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Por fin han llegado las vacaciones de invierno y hemos completado el primer semestre del a\u00f1o escolar 2021-2022. Es con orgullo que miramos hacia atr\u00e1s a lo que nuestros estudiantes y personal han logrado desde el 11 de agosto. El aprendizaje de los estudiantes sigue ocupando un lugar central en JKMS. En todos los grados y \u00e1reas tem\u00e1ticas, los estudiantes y maestros colaboran en el proceso de aprendizaje a trav\u00e9s de pr\u00e1cticas de ense\u00f1anza innovadoras, comentarios y aportes de los estudiantes a su aprendizaje y evaluaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Diciembre es un mes para reflexionar sobre amigos y familiares. Con suerte, puede tomarse un tiempo durante las vacaciones de invierno para conectarse o reconectarse con amigos y familiares. En esta temporada navide\u00f1a, los animo a que se cuiden unos a otros. La temporada es una temporada para dar. Muchas veces todo lo que pensamos en darnos algo de regalos tangibles, este a\u00f1o considera dar el regalo de ti.
