Also, if you could please check and make sure your students only bring what they need to school, that would be fantastic. Their backpacks weigh a ton and there&#8217;s all kinds of stuff in there.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Events, Timelines, and Opportunities for All Stakeholders<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We are so grateful for our Leadership Class and their teacher, Mrs. Sadorra!\u00a0 They are working hard to get ALL STUDENTS involved on campus.\u00a0 Next month, we have our Homecoming spirit days. Please encourage your students to participate in events and spirit days.\u00a0 If you\u2019re like me, you might wonder what some of these days entail but please know, the leadership students reach out to the student body with descriptors, etc.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Attend our athletic events.\u00a0 Our fall sports are well underway and they are so fun to watch.\u00a0 Follow our <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/DIXONRAMSATHLETICS\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">DHS Athletics Facebook Page<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> for schedules and celebrations.<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Our Homecoming football game win against Woodland High is on Friday, October 11.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><b>Homecoming Dance tickets will be on sale soon.<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> The dance is on Saturday, October 12, from 8-11 pm.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Please start thinking about ordering your copy of the 2025 Dixon High School Yearbook. (more information to come)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">AP Students are getting important information about registering with CollegeBoard and preparing to order their AP tests.\u00a0 Remember, it is very important for students to sit for the AP tests when they take an AP class.\u00a0 All information will be sent via student email and delivered by AP teachers.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Any 10th and 11th graders who want to sit for the PSAT exam must speak to their counselors.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Events, Timelines, and Opportunities for the Class of 2025 Specifically<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Our counselors are meeting with every, single senior, one on one, to make sure they are getting prepared for graduation and post-secondary plans.\u00a0 That said, seniors should be getting those college apps out.\u00a0 Please reach out to your counselor if you need support through this process.\u00a0 If you are a senior (or love a senior) and want to register for the SAT and\/or ACT exams.
