Dear Dixon High School Families,

We only have a couple weeks of school!  Here are some things to share and keep in mind.

As much as we would like to have COVID completely in the rear-view mirror, we are seeing a clear rise in cases, like the rest of the area.  Please, if your student has symptoms, even if it looks just like allergies, keep your students at home until symptoms resolve.  We still offer PCR testing every Monday and Thursday and we encourage testing at home when needed.  Our top priority is always student and staff and family health so let’s get through this together!  If you have ANY questions about symptoms, etc just call our front office and speak with our nurse.

It is really important to check in with your students regarding their progress!  Final grades are only days away and your student needs  support in staying focused and productive.  It is also important to continue communicating with teachers so if you have any questions at all, please reach out to your student’s teachers.  We realize that Homelink was down for some time and there is a new link to access it on the district website.  Here is the link:

Yearbook Update

If your student wants to purchase a 2022 Dixon High School Yearbook, they can do so online throughout the school year!  Order by credit card or eCheck at  (Order# 7317) or by mail-in-check by calling 1-866-287-3096.  This info is also available on the Yearbook page of Dixon High School’s website.

Job Opportunities with DUSD

Dixon Unified School District has job openings! See what positions are available by going to  To fill a position in the classroom as an Aid or Paraprofessional, you must have completed the Paraprofessional Exam, or have 48 College Units completed.  We will be offering the Paraprofessional Exam to any parent who would like to become eligible to apply for an Aid or Paraprofessional. Senior Check-In

I am so proud of our seniors!  Here are the events coming up this week and next:

  • First, we had our Senior Awards night last night and it was fantastic to witness the generosity of our small town as our students prepare to engage fully in their post-secondary plans.  It was also a touching evening, with many memorial scholarships from our generous families.
  • Tonight we will celebrate our English Learners as their hard work pays off in the Reclassification Ceremony.
  • Wednesday night is AVID Night as well.
  • Next week we host Distinguished Scholars Night, and a Choir Concert, a band concert, and the DHS FFA Banquet.  Phew!  We are busy
  • Don’t forget to…Paint the Town Green!!  As we build up to graduation on June 4th, please consider decorating your yard, home, car, business, windows…anything for that matter…GREEN!  Also, send me pictures of any greeness you find at and I will post those on our Facebook Page!
  • Also, I will be sending out more detailed information about graduation soon so you know where to park, what time to enter, where to sit, etc.  Remember, the ceremony is open to all guests!
