The Business Services Department is responsible for financial services, payroll services, account payables, budgeting, transportation services, technology and student attendance. Business Services ensures the District complies with state laws and regulations regarding financial accountability and reporting. This department also coordinates contracted services, interacts with outside agencies and financial institutions, and prepares and presents board, community and staff reports.
Business Services also conducts financial, operational, performance, and compliance audits to assess the effectiveness of controls, accuracy of financial records, and the efficiency of operations. It serves as the liaison between the District and external auditors.
